11.4: Products vs. Deliverables
SUMMARY	Many students will have ideas for their capstone by now. However, one of the hardest parts of the proposal for students is identifying what they will actually create, both as a final product and the smaller pieces along the way. This lesson is crucial in helping students clarify the difference between a product and deliverable and start to think about what their deliverables will be.
OBJECTIVES	Explain the connection and the difference between a product and a deliverable Identify deliverables for a project
STUDENT FOCUS (in Schoology)	Watch the video “Identify Deliverables” (4 min) Review resource Capstone Deliverables - List of Ideas Optional Resource: Sample projects with photos and list of products and deliverables Check for understanding (assignment) - Students will list their product and their deliverables
CREW LEADER FOCUS	Meet with students who did not turn in project ideas yet to help them brainstorm (use their interest inventory assignments to help guide conversation) Review exit slips - make sure students are on the right track with products and deliverables. If you’re not sure, check with your site coordinator. Update trackers with new info re: project ideas, products, deliverables, concern list
